I did get my files in the end, so everything was fine. The access just wasn’t instant, and for a little while I was worried something had gone wrong. Once it came through, I felt relieved, but I wish it had been a bit quicker

I ordered a few things from alfred.com, and one of the items in my package wasn’t the one I chose. The receipt had the correct item listed, so I was confused when I opened everything up and saw something different.

Customer service did get back to me and helped with the return, but I expected a faster response since the mistake wasn’t on my end. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but the order accuracy and turnaround time could definitely be better.

I used alfred.com to browse their catalog, it was easy to find what I was looking for. The filters helped a lot, and the results showed up quickly enough. A few titles were harder to track down if I didn’t know the exact name, which got a little annoying?? But overall, it worked fine. Not perfect, but definitely better than a lot of other music sites I’ve tried...

I’ve been trying to get into my account for days now, and it just keeps sending me around in circles. The password reset email either never shows up, or when it finally does, the link doesn’t even work. I reached out to support, but all I got were basic copy-and-paste replies that didn’t actually fix anything. Come on now, I just need to log in and manage my stuff. Super frustrating experience.

I tried reaching out to customer support a couple times about my account and sorta just never heard anything back. I waited a few days, sent another message, and still didn’t get a real answer. It’s frustrating when you need help and it feels like nobody’s checking or responding. Definitely not what I was expecting...

I picked up the Alfred Music books to help me learn piano, and at first I thought they’d be straightforward, but the pacing felt a little off to me.

Some parts were almost too easy, and then suddenly it was like, wait, when did we learn that thing from before? The next page would expect me to know something that didn’t really feel fully explained, which made practicing kind of frustrating as a beginner.

Maybe it makes more sense if you’re using it with a teacher or someone guiding you through it, but on my own it felt a bit all over the place. For the price, I just expected the progression to feel smoother.

I feel like I paid way too much for what I ended up getting. I expected a lot better for the price, and when I brought it up, it kind of felt like I was being brushed off. Disappointing overall.

The prices seem fair to me, i don’t really have any major complaints. Decent experience overall.

The site was just confusing, confusing. I kept clicking through the menus and somehow ended up going in circles. I was only trying to find basic info, but it felt like I had to click forever and ever. After a while, I just gave up

I picked up this Alfred beginner method book thinking it would be a solid way to get started, but it felt kind of rushed. The pages and layout look decent enough, but the lessons seem to jump around, and a lot of the explanations are so brief that I kept wondering if I had missed something.
As a new player, it made things more confusing than helpful, and I ended up having to watch videos online just to understand basics that should’ve been explained clearly in the book. I also didn’t bother reaching out to customer service because, in my experience, that usually turns into a runaround and doesn’t really fix the issue anyway. I wouldn’t buy this one again

I found most of the songs I was looking for, and the suggestions were actually relevant most of the time. Yeah, a couple results were a little off, but that’s not exactly a dealbreaker. Overall, it saved me time and did what I needed it to do. I’d use it again

The lessons themselves were fine overall, but I didn’t feel like the teachers were very helpful when I needed extra guidance. If you’re the type of person who can figure things out on your own, it might be okay, but I’d be a little cautious if you’re counting on strong support before committing your time or money.

I used some Alfred Music materials with my students for a while, mostly during our regular weekday lessons when everyone is already a little tired from school and activities. The content itself is fine, and I can see how it’s useful, but it just didn’t hold their attention for very long. A few of my students started getting bored after only a couple pages, and I found myself having to do a lot of extra prompting to keep them focused. It works if you really push through it, but I was hoping it would be a bit more engaging or interactive on its own

I’ve been using Alfred for music theory practice, it absolutely gets the job done. It covers pretty much all the basics you need, and most of it is clear enough that I actually feel like I’m understanding the material way better. Some sections do feel a little old-school, no question, but overall it’s been genuinely helpful for learning theory.

To be fair, I wasn’t expecting it to arrive so fast, but it showed up earlier than I thought it would. Happy with the shipping overall

The box arrived looking smashed up. I’m not totally sure where it happened or if it affected anything inside, but the packaging itself was definitely damaged when I got it

Some sections felt overly basic, while other parts were kind of awkward to play, like they weren’t arranged with an actual player in mind. It wasn’t awful or anything, and I’m sure they’d be fine for casual practice, but there was a weird no-real-person-behind-it feeling to the arrangements. For the price, I was expecting something a little more polished and musical.

The instructions were clear overall. I was able to follow the steps without much trouble, and most of it made sense, made sense as I went along.
